Returns
Playdough and Pour & Play
Our playdough and Pour & Play sensory fillers are made from food ingredients, so for hygiene reasons they cannot be returned or exchanged once they have left us, whether opened or not. This includes change of mind.
If a jar or pack arrives damaged, leaking or not as described, email hello@lexandfox.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We will send a replacement. If a replacement is not available, we will refund that item to your original payment method within 5 working days. You do not need to send anything back.
Cutters, tools, trays and other non-perishable items
If an item arrives damaged, faulty or is not what you ordered, email hello@lexandfox.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number, a short description and a photo. We will reply with the next step. Please do not send anything back until we have confirmed the address and instructions.
If a replacement is available, we will send it. If it is not, we will refund the purchase price to your original payment method within 5 working days of approving the return.
Damage caused by use, wear, or not following the care instructions is not a fault.
Changed your mind?
Unused, non-perishable items in their original packaging can be returned within 7 days of delivery. Email hello@lexandfox.com with your order number first and we will confirm how to return it. Return delivery is at your cost unless the item was faulty or sent in error. Once received and checked, we refund the purchase price to your original payment method within 5 working days.
We cannot accept change-of-mind returns of:
- Playdough, Pour & Play and any sensory filler, for the hygiene reasons above
- Box sets and bundles that include playdough or sensory filler, once opened
- Sale and clearance items
- Personalised, custom and bulk orders
- Gift cards
Changing or cancelling an order
We prepare orders quickly. Email hello@lexandfox.com with your order number as soon as possible and we will tell you whether a change is still possible. A change is confirmed only when we reply.
Safety and care
Our playdough and play sets are handmade in Dubai. They are play materials, not food. Even when the dough smells like something from the kitchen, keep it out of mouths.
Ages. Our products are for children aged 3 and over, with adult supervision, unless the product page says otherwise. Many sets contain small parts and loose pieces that can be a choking hazard. Children who still put objects in their mouths should not have access to them.
Ingredients. Our dough contains wheat and corn. Pour & Play fillers are made from rice, pasta or tapioca, as listed on each product page. Colours and scents vary by product and are listed on each product page. Please read the ingredients before buying if a child in your home has an allergy or intolerance, and contact us if you are unsure. We do not describe any product as allergen-free.
Care. Return dough to its closed container after play and keep it in a cool place away from sunlight. Keep sensory fillers dry and sealed between uses. Follow the care card that comes with your product. Stop using any dough or filler that changes smell, texture or appearance.
Please read each product description and care instructions before use. We cannot be responsible for damage or injury that results from a product being used for something other than its intended purpose.
Privacy
We collect the information needed to process your order and reply to your enquiry: your name, contact details, delivery address and order history. It is stored securely in our Shopify store.
We share it only with the services that make your order possible: our payment provider to take payment, our courier to deliver it, and our email tools to send order updates. We do not sell your information and we do not share it with anyone else for marketing.
You will only receive marketing emails or messages from us if you have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email or by writing to us.
